The installation deals with the manipulation of photographs. 
  
It can be built straight into an exhibition space or inside the red brick structure that appears in the video above. 
  
It is based on stills from a video morphing mug shots of a group of anti Nazi resistance fighters. (vimeo.com/160614609) After the war, a handful of survivors of that group were slandered by the media and history writing as traitors. Meanwhile, they were subjected to a second wave of surveillance and persecution. (rotekapelle-redorchestra.com)
  
This installation seeks to challenge our observation as we look at images in the media or read texts that try to explain the past.
